Jack Johnson – Sitting, Waiting Wishing
Now I was sitting waiting wishing
that you believed in superstition
then maybe you’d see the signs
But Lord knows that this world is cruel
and I ain’t the Lord, no I’m just a fool
and loving somebody don’t make them love you

You’re in and out of my hands
Slipping like sand, passing like time
Your love is brutally bold, careless and cold
But it’s mine, mine
not your year
Movies, TV screens reflect
just what you expected
There’s a world of shiny people
somewhere else
Out there following their bliss
living easy, getting kissed
while you wonder
what else you’re doing wrong
- The Weepies, Not Your Year

Up the stairs
to the landing
up the stairs into the hall
Take oasis
Marat’s bathing
We walk through the wood
we walk

I just had to write a note to post in the bathroom, in an attempt to stop the cafeteria lady from peeing all over the seat, every time. That’s a grown woman and she doesn’t know not to piss on the seat and leave it there for someone else to clean up? Now I am become a bathroom sign-poster? It’s all not OK.

No matter what they tell you – do NOT buy a house. I wish I had never even heard of this house. Renting was SO MUCH BETTER. Believe me, trust me, do NOT buy a house, whatever you do.

While the people fall down
And the world stands still
Not a sound, not a sound
There is love
There is love, to be found
In the worst way
In the worst way
In the worst way

People are pissing me off, like, for serious. They need to drop down and die. I don’t know why these idiots have to act all boytarded, but I am bored of it.

Things to be happy about: tomorrow is a dress-down day, and then I have Friday off. It’s nice and not depressing (I hope) because the weather should be decent. My backyard is also bursting with bulbs. Those are all things to be happy about. Look at me, being happy about them. Really really hard.

I don’t wanna carry all my freaking laundry up the stairs, with chihuahuas running around my feet and a sore and cramped-up left hand, from monkeying up and down the stairs for six weeks. I don’t wanna.
I am never going to get used to this ‘grownup’ thing, am I?

If I had to choose between never driving fast again and never having sex again, it wouldn’t be an easy decision.
