Finally!

October 14th, 2007

Finished painting the damn bedroom. Finally. Covered in paint, but luckily I am washable. Will take pictures later. I made a kind of cool piece of art for the wall last night, so that was fun. Now I just need more furniture. If anyone sees any large piles of cash-money laying around, those are mine. I lost them.

I think Jake’s voice is changing. He did his super-loud shrill bark this afternoon out in the yard (how dare someone use the dumpster!) and mid-way through it changed to a deeper one. Do dog’s voices change?

Friend online just told me this “hilarious” story about his drunken & debauched night out with his friends. As if I was going to be amused. Yeah, so amused I don’t feel like I want to talk to you anymore. Drunk people confound me. And drunk, dumb people who fuck each other in the back of a bus confound me even moreso.

Also, I am apparently being stalked by covers of “Running up that hill” but none of them beat Placebo’s so far. This one by some band called “Within Temptation” is quite wretched, actually. Not nearly as wretched as Paul Young’s cover of “Love will tear us apart” which almost made me break out in boils, but pretty bad all the same.

Off to caffeinate myself.

Yay for finishing painting! I have no clue if dogs’ voices change. I assume so, as they go from puppyhood to doghood…but, um, I’ve only ever had puppies that start tiny and grow into huge.
Also, I hope it’s not the guy friend you were really hoping would be interesting. I’m not a fan of drunken debauchery, either. It makes zero sense, and sharing it with others makes even less. Negative 12 sense.

I think I speak for both of us when I say: as long as it didn’t involved paint shooting out the back of a shop-vac, it’s been a successful redecorating session. :)

That’s the truth Sue. There was a little paint-on-the-carpet action, but nothing noticeable. I was going to feel ambitious and do the little anteroom too, but dammit, I hate painting. Now I just need to sort out the canopy thing I want to put up, and I will have a large chunk of that room finished.

Jeni, no that wasn’t the guy I was hoping would be interesting. Jury’s still out on that guy. He’s interesting, yeah, but in the way that makes me want to put my head through a plate-glass window. Either he needs to stop being that interesting or I have to develop my frustration tolerance. We will see.
