ST. LOUIS: Police seek ID of man shot to death on Euclid

Authorities were trying to identify a man who was shot several times and killed about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday in the street in the 4300 block of North Euclid Avenue, St. Louis police said.
A witness told police he heard three shots, saw a car drive off and then spotted the victim’s body.
The victim was about 25-35 years old and had several tattoos, police said.

Head shot kills city teen
The streets of St. Louis yielded yet another corpse on Wednesday night.
Police got a report about 10:50 p.m. of gunfire in the 4300 block of North Euclid Avenue, in the city’s Penrose neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they found the body of a teenager, killed by a gunshot to his head.
Police are withholding his identity until relatives can be notified.
At least this one had friends who would drive him to the hospital rather than make him drive his own ass.
EAST ST. LOUIS: Gunman shoots into car; man dies, other is hurt

A gunman walked up to a vehicle with three men inside and fired shots, killing one man and injuring another Wednesday, police said.
The shooting happened in the 1400 block of Lynch Avenue, according to East St. Louis Police Chief Michael Baxton.
After the shooting, Franklin Jones, 23, of East St. Louis was dropped off at Kenneth Hall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The injured passenger’s identity is being withheld. He was taken to an undisclosed hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, Baxton said.

ST. LOUIS: Man is charged with murder in shooting

Gilbert Whittier, 18, was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Martel Wilson, also 18, St. Louis police said.
Wilson was shot numerous times about midnight Monday on the sidewalk near the intersection of Harney and Partridge avenues. Police said they believe Wilson had been robbed by Whittier earlier this week, and that about an hour before he was shot, Wilson found Whittier and beat him with his fists.
Whittier was arrested running away from the murder scene, police said.
Wilson lived in the 5400 block of Gilmore Avenue. Whittier lives in the 5900 block of Lucille Avenue.
Not a killin’ but notable for there being such a place as “Club Legit” where people hang out. Anyone else feel like it’s suddenly Hammer Time?
ST. LOUIS: Man shoots into crowd, escapes; no victim found

Jennings police officers witnessed a man shooting into a crowd late Saturday outside Club Legit at 6324 West Florissant Avenue near the St. Louis-Jennings border.
But police officers were unable to catch the gunman, and no victim was found, police said.
And of course we can’t forget our guy who got shot in the apartments, whose case was related to another killing. That guy was probably shot in the townhouse, and I’ve heard that stings like a motherfucker.
Two fatal shootings may be related

Authorities believe a killing in East St. Louis on Friday night and another fatal shooting early Saturday in Centreville may be related.
Homer Watson, 20, was shot several times and killed in front of his home in the 700 block of Vogel Place shortly after 10 p.m. Friday.
About 5 a.m. Saturday, Kavon Chandler, 21, of East St. Louis, was shot in the Ernest Smith Apartments at 14th Street and Pearl Avenue in Centreville, authorities said. Chandler tried to drive himself to Kenneth Hall Regional Hospital in East St. Louis but crashed at 10th Street and Bond Avenue, near the hospital. Chandler was pronounced dead at the scene. Two friends of Chandler’s who were in the car were uninjured.Authorities said that Watson and Chandler had been friends and that their murders might be related to an earlier shooting.

Guess that other guy didn’t think to drive himself to the hospital after getting shot in the townhouse. He must’ve been too dead for that. :lol:
