Why…

September 13th, 2007

Why is it sometimes so hard to figure out if people are assholes or not? Some people might as well carry neon flashing “asshole” signs, and be covered in asshole tattoos that proclaim their status to the world. But some people evince a much more subtle form of assholishness, and it cracks you over the head all slyly, suddenly. “Oh wow…” you say to yourself. “What an asshole.”

I know, there needs to be a database somewhere, sort of like how you can look up a person’s Ebay rating. :) You’d have to actually have had an encounter with someone to leave feedback.

There was that website “don’t date him girl” or something like that, but you can’t trust that. It’s just these people who can pretend at being normal for a long time, then the big reveal.

Actually it’s probably more about me willfully ignoring the signs I see because I don’t want them to be there.

I’ve got nothing. I avoid all people equally. It’s just easier.
