Gah

July 12th, 2007

The backup that I thought ran last week did not run. I lost everthing since May 23rd. Worse than that, I had problems with my backup software a while ago and reconfigured it. When I did that I forgot to include several key files, including my Outlook .pst file, my Money .mny file and the log where I keep all my client work-hours. So I’ve lost three months of stuff, no big deal. But I’ve lost my Money file completely and the last 2-3 years of email. Gone. Just completely gone, including attachments, receipts, product activation codes, everything. Oh lord, I don’t know whether to cry or bash my head into the wall. In the meantime I am reinstalling, and reinstalling, and reinstalling.

Crap. I hope you can recover the important stuff. If there’s anything I have that can help you, just let me know. *hugs*
