Wow, what a suck day!

July 6th, 2007

a) my freezer’s been freaking out, and the icemaker has stopped working as of today. The icemaker is one of the very few things not covered by my home warranty ( I learned that by having someone come out to see what the funny noise was, them telling me it was the ice maker and wasn’t covered and then charging me $50 for my trouble) and it’s the only thing that’s broken to the point of needing replacement this year. So basically any other appliance in this house could break and be replaced, but the one part of the one appliance that isn’t covered, broke. And now I have no ice.

b) my PC is fucked. Seriously fucked. Can’t boot fucked, can’t restore fucked, can’t even do a damn thing to get out of the “restart” cycle fucked. I have an email in to one of the IT teachers at the college, hope he calls me tomorrow.

c) I am now on my laptop, and twice tonight the screen has gone fuzzy, filled with lines, and crashed the computer. :| So tomorrow I may be completely computerless, who knows.

Ah, and just now I heard the freezer start up that horrid drilling noise again. At this point I hope the whole freezer locks up and dies, because that at least would be covered.

I am working hard to find the joy in this day. I am sure it’s around here somewhere.
