Random Thoughts
I hate mosquitos. I don’t particularly like being a person who sweats a lot either. I know some people do not sweat readily, but I am not one of them. I was just outside laying landscape fabric to cover the area where I sprayed RoundUp and then promptly got super-paranoid that the dogs were going to eat that grass and go into renal failure and die, so I had to cover it all up. Anyway, I donated about a pint of blood to the local mosquito population and got as sweaty as a big sweaty pig. But better me sweaty and itchy than dead doggies, of course, so there you have it. Also, bags of pebbles are heavy. And I whacked my head on the bottom of a metal shelf at Home Despot. Because there’s never anyone to help you with anything and the prices are never marked anywhere and half their bags of mulch and rock are always torn open. And I think I like Lowe’s better but I have this sneaking suspicion that Lowe’s is affiliated with Wal-Mart, because do you notice how often you see those two next to each other in some obscene mini-mall sprawl? Until I figure that out I can’t happily shop there. I need to have a truckload of rock delivered here, but I don’t want to shovel it all inside the fence once they dump it, and they can’t dump it inside the fence, so I am kind of in a quandry with the whole thing.
God, whoever the geniuses were who put the crackly paper in the ears of this little Shabby Chic stuffed dog I got at Target, I want to kiss them. My dogs LOVE things that crackle, but normally can’t have anything like that because, hello, don’t eat paper and wrapping material and stuff. But this dog crackles like mad, and they love it! And they have had it a week and have not yet killed it (ripped it into shreds) so that’s an extra bonus.
I re-joined deviant art under my superbad identity, as a place where I can post some of my more risque materials. You know that crap would get removed from Rendo so fast my head would whirl off. In other news… FIVE day weekend next week! So I am living for that. I may actually get around to finally painting my bedroom. Stay tuned for that story, because you just know it’s not going to turn out well.
