Get Your Own Everything

No matter how negatively I feel about my life sometimes, I can at least say that it is not, and will never be, an appropriation of someone else’s thoughts. Or someone else’s language, or someone else’s interests, or someone else’s friends and activities.

I am tired of seeing myself regurgitated.

Oh gads no. You’re all original babe. I mean, as far as I know. You *could* be made of re-used bits and bobs I guess.

No, that’s more a statement about a few situations/people which are frustrating me lately.

I just think my life is not all that damn cool the first time around, I really don’t appreciate seeing someone reusing parts of it.

Anyway, I think it’s one of those things where if you have the self-awareness to wonder if it’s you, it’s probably not you.
