- Listening: “Leslie Anne Levine” by The Decemberists
http://tinyurl.com/5qehno # - Time from beginning boot-up until both Firefox and Outlook are actually open and working = 11 minutes. Is this normal? #
- Absolute favorite song on Paste’s Nov. Music Sampler = “Move You” by Anya Marina http://tinyurl.com/6l7t4a #
- Going to have blood drawn. Gah. Wish me free-flowing blood, and a short line at the place. #
- Back from blood draw. Hand hurts. But plus side = yummy Greek salad for lunch rather than nasty cafeteria food. Also cookies as self-reward. #
- You know, that blood-drawing guy was nice enough, but maybe not so skilled. I think he punctured my vein. My hand *hurts*. #
- Reading @teh_neil ‘s blog makes me feel good. Like I am maybe not such an incredibly stupid person WRT how I think about my own writing. #
- All Microsoft help files are written in Greek by retarded, inbred water buffalo, then translated to Farsi, then to French, then English. #
- Dear Microsoft: Why use 3 steps when 7,569 steps might suffice? #
- http://twurl.nl/fcdcm7 Do you have to be British to get blessed by this ex-transsexual, ex-wizard, father of 2 (via his uterus-free wife)? #
- Palin’s aides say she’s not good with “process questions.” I had to look up what that term meant, and it means that apprently she (cont.) #
- can’t explain how or why the things she claims as fact are true. She can say “The sun is hot.” but not why. http://tinyurl.com/6clray #
- Next time anyone challenges me about anything I say I am going to tell them that I am not good with process questions, and to STFU. #
- Dear Family: I feel like you could understand the computer too, if you really tried. Being your unpaid helpdesk, not as fun as you imagine. #
- Let’s send all the terrorists to Plurk. They will spend months puzzling over that weirdo interface, and run out of time for terror. #
