My mother's dog brings me a toy every timne I walk through the door (she recognises the sound of my car and is usually waiting for me) but she refuses to let go of them. It's a lot of fun though to get another toy and wave it at her and then watch her try to fit two toys in her mouth. She normally goes and hides one in her bed and then comes back for the other eventually.

As for doing nothing meaningful - that's what I do best. A friend of mine recently took voluntary redundancy for a huge wedge of cash because as he said, "The new jobs they were offering me wouldn't be challenging enough for me." I really don't understand this - I'd be very happy to do an easy, meaningless job as long as they paid me enough to do it.

From Dim's Book of Wisdom - "Sometimes, doing nothing for a day is the best course of action." Dnmn, for a shallow person I can be really deep sometimes! ;-)
