Doing Illustrator Tuts
Create a 3D Push Pin and a Paper Note in Illustrator - VECTORTUTS
Needing to freshen up my Illustrator skills, so doing random tutorials. Love PSDTUTS, VECTORTUTS is just as cool. Nice to have someone walk me through the 3D capabilities of CS3, here’s my output.
(What, like you thought it wouldn’t be pink? Please.)

Wow! I’m geeking out over that. When I demoed Illustrator (so long ago I don’t remember what version atm), it made me go “huh?” I’m trying to learn Inkscape now if I ever find any spare time. Which I don’t, but anyway I couldn’t make anything that cool in either of them. Yay, you! -

Oh you could so! Just have to master the pen tool! Actually, Shade uses the pen tool, and that helped me when I first got into Shade. You have to make bezier curves your friend (or your bitch.) -
