Time

June 18th, 2008

Today was mildly better because I only had to spend about 15 minutes total in the company of that flaming jackass. Tomorrow is Thursday, which is almost Friday, which is good. But Todd’s going out of town, and that’s bad.

My job is so bad that I am LOOKING FORWARD to jury duty in a few weeks. How sad is that? And right now I am putting off going to bed, because the sooner I go to bed the sooner I have to get up and start all this pathetic mess all over again.

Interview went well, but I still don’t think I am quite qualified for the position. Need a few more years experience. The timing is just off.

I swear, I am looking for the happy, people. But the happy is hiding.

OK, let me look harder. It’s a nice night. No A/C on, breeze is blowing and delightful. The garden is gorgeous, things are blooming and thriving, which is wonderful. I have a rather fun delivery scheduled for Friday. Those are good things. I will focus on them. Determinedly.

Oh I breathe in, breathe out
I’m stuck in those shadowed doubts
I’m feeling my way
So tired of seeing blind
But I breathe in, breathe out
There’s nothing I can do now but
Breathe in, breathe out
