What I Hate Right Now and Why I Hate It
What I hate: Politics
Why I hate it: Fucking disingenuousness that just does not end. Hillary calling Barack out about his comments on the poor clinging to guns and religion? Her calling his comments elitist? Bullshit. But worse than that retarded display was what I heard on NPR this morning, that Hills said she thinks the “potential for life begins at conception” and Bars saying that he “hasn’t made up [his] mind.” BULLSHIT. I totally totally call fucking bullshit on both of them. Begins at conception, Hilly? REALLY? Since when? And haven’t made your mind up, Mr. O? Really? What exactly are you waiting for? Do you need to grow up first? Do some reading on it? Please. Hills is pro-choice but willing to capitulate that for electability and Obama would abort your fetus himself, but knows the religious (esp the African American “god DAMN America!” coalition) won’t support that. I fucking hate politics.
What I hate: Microsoft Word cut and paste
Why I hate it: Whatever numbfuck at MS decided that every time I cut something from a word document I want to paste it with 367,569 lines of their shitty HTML attached is in-fucking-sane. Type something out in Word and want to paste it to your blog? Be prepared to spend an hour editing out all their retarded code, with markup at every bleeding paragraph break. Wordpress even had to adapt to it by adding in a “paste as plain text” function in the new 2.5 version, just to strip out all that crap. The worst is that it’s even applicable to all text you copy from an Outlook email too. So I got a press release at work, needed to post it to my work blog (Typepad based) but had to manually strip out all the code so it didn’t look retarded. What a fucking feature. Also, Ballmer, stop trying to buy Yahoo! you impotent little twathole.
What I hate: Catherine Willows of C.S.I.
Why I hate it: Last week’s episode “A Thousand Days on Earth” had some shittastic writing that made her grating, annoying character even more grating and annoying than usual. First of all her and Gil wasted a good 2 minutes of dialogue with her fruitlessly theorizing on who killed their vic and why (watch the whole retarded exchange here.) That’s not even consistent with their characters, since Gil would have shut her down with a “Why don’t you collect the fucking evidence before you start hypothesizing, bitch?” (actually reviewing the video, he does kind of have that look on his face)

Then in an interview with a suspect she makes the claim that something a guy did is a “parole violation” when there’s no evidence (and it seems highly unlikely) he ever went to jail for the offense they were discussing.
Her moral outrage is tiresome, and I hope this new plot twist where the sex-offender-but-not-really is stalking her means she gets killed off. I have no more patience with her trout-pout, endless hair tossing and bitchisms in the workplace which embody all the worst women-at-work stereotypes.
Idiotic quote: “Who abuses and murders a child and then wraps them in a blanket…?” Ummm, unless I have misunderstood something, you’re supposed to be working on that exact problem, beyatch.
Side note: Gil Grissom can still tie me up and spank me, anytime.
What I hate: Parts of the new WP2.5 interface
Why I hate it: Because block-quotes, which you used to be able to insert by tabbing, or by hitting the “increase indent” button, are no longer accessible in that way. You have to go into HTML view and insert them there, then start typing something below it in that view, then switch back to regular view to continue. That’s reduced-functionality and I don’t appreciate that in my upgrades. Also, the media uploader seems very buggy and half the time just freezes when inserting images, so I have to save a post, close the tab and then go back to the post and re-edit just to insert an image. Also the gallery feature, while cool, has some design flaws. Flaw A) If I want one or more large images in a post in addition to the gallery, I can’t have that. All pictures related to a post show up in the gallery whether you want them to or not. In addition, clicking on a gallery image takes you to a blank post with that image in it, then you have to click on that picture to get to full size. That’s too much clicking. Why not just go to full-size when one clicks on a gallery image?
What I hate: Proprietary human-resources application systems at large institutions
Why I hate it: Because I recently wasted almost 2 hours filling out an application with this type of jacked up system, and by the time I got to the 5th or 6th crash/error with the FIVE attachments they demanded I upload, I no longer wanted the job.

I have to admit, I would have paid good money for Grissom to go, “gee, I don’t know. But the I in CSI stands for Investigation, so let’s find out, shall we?”
What I hate is the religious freaks insisting on shoving their personal reproductive beliefs down my throat in the first place. They remind me of the forumites at DAZ. :-/
