Found this link via imageafter - seems like a cool thing. I joined and got some free stock images. The don’t have any banners, just these eensy little buttons. *eyeroll*
The photos are for personal or commerical use, but CAN’T be used to create a product that you then resell. So you can use them on your website, in your magazine, in advertising, in your personal artwork, etc, but the way I read the license you can’t use the images on a product. Which I think was meant to stop people slapping the image on a mug at cafepress and selling it, but unfortunately (I think) precludes their usage in textures and the like. But anyway, it’s a good resource to have for web/graphic designers, if not so much for texture artists. A bit wacky to navigate, but worth checking out.
Buy and sell commercially-licensed stock photos for $1-$2. Free membership, and some free stock photos when you join.
